Does anyone know if the Factory Powersteps can be added to an XLT. I'm not talking about when you order, but installed on my truck? I've heard they are half the cost of AMP steps, but maybe that's only as an ordered option.
Amp Research has them for an XLT F250. I added them to a 2010 F150 XLT for about $1200. Which isn't all that bad of a price. I think the Amp Research Power Steps are well worth the money even at $1500.
You can always save yourself about $800 and get some steps that protect your doors from door dings, watched a lady today dent her own car door on my NFab steps lol. Didnt even scratch the powder coating on the NFabs. Just throwin out options!
Another vote for the amp research steps. I had them on my last truck and will be installing them on my 250 next week. Easy to install and never had any issues with them. Got them for $1250 from amazon with two day shipping.
AMP Research PowerSteps are high quality and they're the originators of these powered steps. AMP's units are likely a bit better than the ones from the factory made under license to AMP but not made by AMP.

Funny that you mentioned those, I was actually looking at those yesterday and couldn't find them for the 17. Do you have any better side pics with them on? Always been my favorite style step. I need the steps for wife and kids and I can't stand the factory steps and how hard they are to keep clean.
