need to find power steps

i need to find a set of power steps for a ford excursion chep so i can install them myself

The only one I've seen on ebay that would fit is $1,250.

I think Performance Products (A Catalogue) has the same model for less. I don't know if they have a web site but their number is (800) 752-6268

I'm not sure if its the same model but AMP Presearch makes one as well, http://www.amp-research.com/build/powerstep/index.asp

If you can find a better price let me know because I looked a couple weeks ago and didn't see any better options. Also, I'm not sure about FTE sponsors but I'd be suprised if one of them can't beat the price.

We carry the Best top Powersteps, but havent added them to the site yet. They are very high quality, but you pay for it. Yes, Amp Reaserch is Bestop.

Strange question, just curious but do you have any idea if a power step can be installed under a factory lighted step to provide a “double step” for young children climbing into a lifted X?

Hmmmm? Anything can be done with a plasma cutter, welder, paperclip, snickers bar, chewing gum, and a rubber band. I really dont know If you can do that, but it is a good idea. lol
