What does it cost to join the AQHA to be able to get the $500 coupon? Is that good with A or X plan pricing?
I don't know about compatibility with A or X plan pricing since I'm using neither. Joining AQHA costs $45 for a one year membership; I did it yesterday since it will be 60+ days until I can pick up my special order truck, and I figured my daughter will enjoy the included horse magazine. However, after joining I have not been able to print out the Ford rebate coupon/voucher, so I'm not sure if I need to wait 60 days of membership before I can even print it? I had been under the impression from others on here that you could print it immediately. I may end up having to call AQHA to understand the procedure.
Yeah, I never test drive either. I just pick what I want and get it. Honestly considering getting a Wrangler because I don't think the new Bronco will be budget minded and I will be ordering that without a test drive too. But, most people want something and they want it today.
Most dealers don't take inventory pictures anymore (I think that's stupid, but some collective group sold the industry on the idea of stock photos).
IMO it would make sense to just place and order but people don't have the patience for that either.
Same here, I had never taken a test drive before, usually have done plenty of research beforehand and know very well what I'm getting.
Agree on stock photos and poor quality photos, I think Ford is doing a disservice to themselves on this front, some of their colors are very impressive in person but poorly photographed, White Gold and Caribou as examples.
I did take my first test drive this time because I was ordering, figured it would help my patience during the wait.
First responder and AQHA are NOT stack-able. But thanks for your service to the community!
I got in a debate with a customer once (me, a debate? Who'd of thunk it). He was mad Ford didn't give a rebate for Vets, only active and retirees. Threatened me that he was going to buy a Dodge because they appreciated him more. I rebutted that "they appreciate you as much as they do a rodeo clown, which makes sense since they're Italians now". For some reason he still bought the Ford from me, though I've passed his account to other sales people on his future visits.
PS. I appreciate vets (as one myself), I appreciate companies that give discounts, but I don't go out of my way to ask for them and I don't question a companies patriotism if they don't have one, or advertise it loudly.
Frantz, thanks for the quick response, so there is no need for me to sign up for the AQHA, lol. Also thanks for your input on this forum, its a great help.
