If the trans is a '95-'97 replacement for your truck, then it should already be the high volume pump. You can tell by looking at the front of it,as you'll see the stamped number begins with "F5" indicating it's the high volume.
I hope you'll be able to get the kit as it totally transforms how the trans operates.

Thumbs up

I used a PI converter in my 5R110W and my AOD. AWESOME converters, I hope that is what you have...call and ask. I would consider sending it out and having them refresh it. They were more purple when I used them though.

Tuggers are great kits, put one in an E4OD about a decade ago. Went behind a 4.9, so install will probably be different. TG kits are my go to when doing valve bodies, if unavailable I use Superior Transmission kits.

I drove the truck it came out of shifted very smoothly guy I traded said previous owner had replaced motor and trans in truck supposedly but he had no paperwork to prove it. But I’m kinda believing that story for simple fact of that tc is newer and that trans was fairly clean. But I guess we will see when it goes in I just need it to last a couple years. Plan on to start saving for a bts trans over next couple years. I’ll definitely be waiting to get trans go kit though thanks guys.

If you call TG, they are usually willing to send you the most recent copy of their instruction sheets. Hopefully that will show if the valve in question is replaced. Make a few copies of them for when you are building the valve body, you will always spill something or smudge grease on a set. Keep a clean set for your file on the truck and notate any options you have selected such as separator plate hole sizes. Always start with the smaller hole sizes, when I was young and dumb I would go right for the big ones. It was cool for a few days.

There is NO way I would swap in a reman engine and trans without keeping that documentation.

No. The drain back valve is a separate part.

Finally got some spare time yesterday to start on revamping my efuel how I’d like it to be. Got the new fuel pump bracket and filter bracket built and welded up now I just hal to pickup some all thread for the mount. Also half to get the tugger kit installed which is a little overwhelming looking at all the parts probably gonna clean a nice large area up to do it here in next couple of days. Any advice on installing the tugger kit would be appreciated.

Okay have everything done except drilling the new separator plate but everything I took out pretty much was identical trans has definitely been into before so hopefully that’s a good sign guess worst case atleast I’ve got another good one out of a parts truck. And a rebuildable one once I grab correct drill bits I’ll finally have it ready. To be installed in the truck maybe even this weekend.
