Ok guys, lets talk cranking time. When cold how long, or how many revolutions do you have to crank before she fires up? How about when warm?

Here's some examples to get the discussion started

COLD Usually 5-10 revolutions, over one full second of cranking. Sometimes I have extended cranking cold starts to around 3 seconds of cranking.
WARM Usually 4-5 revolutions, under one full second of cranking.

COLD
WARM

Nice videos. I'm in So Cal so cold is a very different word for some.

Didn't take long at looking at your first video to guess you were up in central MN after haying the fields, where cold is indeed cold.

Here mine starts in 1/2 second at most.

I'm in same boat as r2millers......always very fast 1-2 seconds. I'm Northern California and I also put a 6.4 starter in my truck.
