Cold Start

We just had a cold spell come in here in eastern Massachusetts. Just went out a few minutes ago and wanted to see if I could start the truck in the cold weather....... +1.0 F !!!! I did not have it plugged in overnight either.........didn't turn over on the first turn of the key,but did on the second!!! I just wanted to find out if it would start........nice!!! Just put a couple of new batteries in a couple of months ago. I just thought was good. Still running like a champ!!!!

just started mine at -35 on the temp...cycled the GP 3 times and she fired up with no romps..

That beats my record...........it was my coldest start to date for me..............after 3years and 6months of owning it.

That's crazy man, 1 degrees, -35 degrees. Man its 5 in Jersey and i thought that was cold. Hope y'all don't have to work outside.

It's -2 here this morning. I'm too much of a wuss to go out to see if either of mine will start!

It was pretty much a game for me........I wasn't going anywhere anyway........I guess I have been sitting around the tail pipe for too long now.....!!!!

10* last night, fired right over. I love the LED/GPR mod. No more cycling the key, just watch the LED light and bang she running.

Funny story. I was warming up the truck last night like I always do. Just sitting there playing with the radio and someone is STAIRING in my window. He asked me "whats wrong with your truck" I say nothing, just warming it up some. He asked me what the hisssssing was. So I explaned it to him. A diesel guy trying to explane something to an old school chevy guy was hard. He was walking around the truck, looking under it, it was a sight. I was laughing as I drove off. Sorry just had to share that.
