I bought a simple reproduction one from LMC, but it had sharp edges that required filing down/rounding off.
Primed/painted and it worked fine.

A real simple L-bracket on the bumper is all that is needed. Not sure if mine was factory but it seems so. There are two bolts attached to the bumper and two sloted openings for the plate itself. The bracket only rises about an inch or so above the bumper.

My F4 has one on the bumper like FortyNiner's F1. It is factory installed.

A piece of angle iron with two holes for the plate and two holes to bolt it to the bumper.

It's an easy bracket to make. Even the chrome and stainless bumpers come with the holes for a bracket...
