Hey guys I heard someone on this forum mention torque pro as a good and cheap way to get fault codes off your computer in your truck so I downloaded the app and got the Bluetooth plug in for my computer in my truck and hooked everything up the app works great showed me all my fault codes and that's how I found out I need to replace number 4 injecter but some gauges don't work with my truck my question is does any of you guys know how to get all gauges to work? Could it also be that some gauges just won't work with my truck for example one of the gauges I was trying to get to work was the fuel trim bank senser gauge and horse power gauge if anyone has any tips please help thanks in advance ps my truck is a 03 6.0
A lot of the sensors listed do not work in TP for our vehicles.
The best way to determine if a sensor is "active" is to go into TP while connected to the vehicle and "add display" like you would normally to add any PID you wish to have showing. When you go into the add feature there will be a number of listed displays that are illuminated with a green background. Those are the active PID's the vehicle is actively seeing. So those are the PID's you can add for monitoring.
My TP at the moment will not allow me to monitor Baro and EBP for some reason, which is why I normally use FORScan.
There is also an additional downloadable app for TP that is called Torque Scan. Is is made by the developers of TP. It will list active PID's for your vehicle once you download the app and run it with TP on your vehicle. It attaches itself to TP and will be listed in the main menu of TP as Torque Scan.
