I just finished replacing the hpfp and after getting it started I drove it to autozone to check the engine light code it was P0088 (high fuel rail pressure) which is what it was throwing before the change so I had him clear the code. When I left the parking lot I drove 1 block and the engine light came on again so I went back. This time it was a P0179A which he cleared. It hasn't come back on coming back to the house but I noticed it is revving high and feels like no power. Any thoughts, something I might have missed?
Nice job. Generally I find on everything I work on, if it doesn't do what it should be........it's something small I missed doing what I should have been doing.
I will tell you that doing mechanic work on all types of vehicles and heavy equipment that this was VERY challenging to do with the cab on. Definitely not for the novice.
