Overboost insalled and still throws a code
I was more than a little disappointed when, last week, I installed my ITP Overboost Anihilator. I explain to my wife why I spent the money and what it would do. I load her and the Kids in the truck, get out on a decent stretch of road, pin the accelerator down and bam; once i get to 22 psi thats it. Plateau on the guage and then wham check engine light. Whats up with that?

did it come on steady or was it flickering like it wasn't sure what it wanted to do. If steady still probably a Boost code, If flickering then it is probably an HPOP code (as in the HPOPs trying to keep up with the injectors and its right on the ragged edge of being too weak.

It plateus at 22 psi. I couldn't stay in it for more than 3 seconds or so at that boost, like I said the wife and kids were with me. 
. The light did not flicker and it did the stay on for 8-10 minute thing then cleared. I don't have a reader so I don't know what code it is.
