It's weird, I'll go WOT while driving and I can hear it spooling up buts it's like it won't get released, if that makes sense. I don't know how else to describe it. Any suggestions?

The only codes I got now are P0670: glow plug, p0683: glow plug code, P0299: turbo underboost

Question for you guys. I have the vgt actuator out of the truck. Can I put power at the end of the plug, and see if it will open and close or is that just a sensor?

to truley test a vgt you haveto have the ability to take control of vgt and have the gauge to measure position

If you took the turbo completely apart. Did you "time it" back on the vane sweep?

I used a magnet and pulled the plunger back and forth to make sure the unison ring got a full sweep back and forth. I followed that part on dieseltechtons video. Is that what you mean by timing it?

Im thinking maybe the catalytic converter maybe plugged? I cant think of anything else. I may put my 2006 turbo back in tommorow, just need to be put it back together. Was gonna wait till my new seal kit came in, but I need this truck.
