Maybe I have to do a turbo relearn? But my truck is a 2006... the turbo is a 2003. Hmmm maybe worth a try. If not I guess I'll take that turbo out and put my 06 turbo back in and see if that works.

Okay, When my last 6.0 EBP sensor itself was an issue I wasn't making any boost.

Did you say you broke the map sensor or something as well?

Ebp isn't reading psi. It reads voltage and the pcm interprets the volts into psi. Ebp volts should be in the .88 range koeo. The vgt learn strategy is strictly a pcm calibration event. The 03 turbo means nothing on an 06 as far as learn strategies. The map and ebp both need to be good to get boost.

I guess I missed the other thread. Imma go look for it.

Don't know if I can help you but here's my experience.

Mine would have boost, then I'd lose it.
EBP tube was clear.

I replaced the EBP sensor with a knockoff, it failed in a week. I then got a Ford one, it's still going ok.

I cleaned and replaced the MAP orifice and replace the MAP hose.
I replaced the MAP sensor.

I didn't replace the BAR sensor, usually they don't go bad. (it's the one under the dash)

If your EBP, BAR and MAP sensors are good and you still don't get boost, it seems to me you'd have problems with the VGT solenoid or the turbo itself.

EBP, BAR and MAP just tell the PCM how it should position the VGT.

As someone said, this could be just a relearn issue.

Good Luck, don't give up!

Inter cooler leaking? Check the side and see if you see orange gasket pieces anywhere.
