My 73 F250 4x4 Ranger has circular bed tie downs. I figured they were after market given all I've really ever seen are the cleat-type tie downs. But at the JY the other day, I saw a 76 F250 with the same tie down. My truck is very original (2 owner, un-modded), so combined with the JY find, I'm now wondering if these were some type of option. Does anyone have any Intel? Ford Truck Parts Catalog only shows a picture of the cleat-type. The circular ones I picked off the JY have "Bart Indust's" stamped on the back. Picks below.
Aftermarket, but possibly a Dealer add-on or part of a dealer package of add-ons. It would be interesting if your truck and the JY truck came from the same dealer...maybe there are some more tasty 70s touches common to them both.
Also could just be a coincidence. Those things were made and sold by the millions.
Hi,
I know it's an old thread, but maybe there's someone with any idea where to find some of these hooks?
Got the same ones on my '73 F250, but one is broken.
It's maybe me, but hard to find, especially here in the Netherlands.

My '76 F-150 has these, in the shape seen below. They were marketed as Tie Rite; the 202 "curved back" part number is the one you need. The orange package. The 201 is a green package and they are flat on the back; not the right fit for dentside.
I saw (4) NOS packages on eBay a couple months back and bought them all for my truck.
