Factory flat bed

My flat bed

Hello I just picked up a flat bed for my truck.
It has a stamped "Ford" in the back. From my research Ford did have factory flat beds.
Above is the picture of a painted picture of one I found on the internet.

Is there a place to get new wood from them and trim to replace the old one?

Beginning in 1957, both the genuine Ford Platform (flat bed) and Platform & Rack (stake bed) have these embossed Ford letters.

1956 and earlier beds have the 'old timey' Ford script.

AFAIK, no one reproduces the wooden bed floor.

Thank you NumberDummy for your help.
Is there a info plate for on the flatbed so I can find more info on this specific bed?

Not that I'm aware of.

Very cool, never knew there was a factory flat bed, never put much thought into it, just assumed they were all aftermarket.

I hope you will post up a lot more pics documenting this for us.

Old Bed and flat bed before

Bed outside Cleaned up

Top removed

Frame cleaned up

First coat of black paint

This how far I have got.

I wish I had a picture of back, with Ford stamped in it.

Thank you for your help so far with bed identification.

Here's a pic of the Stake Bed (Platform & Rack) from the 1964/72 catalog. The 1973/79 catalog doesn't show the embossed Ford letters.
