I've been seeing these tie downs on a few of the trucks around town and was wondering if anyone know if they will fit on a normal 5.5' bed? I looked at a buddies last night and it looks like the bed is indented and these tie downs fit into that indention (and then are screwed to secure). I've got an FX4 that I think this would look killer on.

I think there are 2 types of these, on that fits into the indention, and another that fits flush against the bed. I hope. Any guesses?

This type of tie down that is on my truck would look good on a FX4. Is this the flush type you are talking about? I am thinking about getting some but can not make my mind up. If they had F150 engraved on them, I would already have them. $80 is not that bad of a price for them.

 

I presume he is talking about putting them onto a fleetside bed, not the flared side? an interesting question, because they could be usefully for lashing things down, though normally i am able to use the 4 internal hooks or the stake pockets.

 

I like the look of the chrome ones, but my truck is a white/black themed. the hooks would be for looks really. just a little accent to help set my truck apart
