Has anyone added a grab handle on the A pillar and/or the handle above the drivers door inside. My 2004 has this option and i'm wondering if this is just a bolt on or if fabrication would be required. Thanks for any insights...
Don't get your ruffles in a feather, Mecdac was just having some fun, like people do in real life.
His insight was to direct you to a thread that answers your question.
While this isn't a flame-fest kind of forum, it also isn't like church where everyone is on there Stepford-wife best manners.
We stroke, we joke, we laugh, we cry, we share, we help, and we're here for each other. It's all good.

I was just playing back. I've been a member of the forum for years and know how these threads go.
I found many examples of F250' s, 150's but don't remember an excursion. That's why I asked if anyone had done it on their excursion. One thread said you need a right angle drill so I wanted to see if that was the case.
It's all good just figured if you can dish it out, you can take it.
I seem to recall earlier model years did NOT have the mounts on the pillars. I will pull the A-pillar on my 1999 f350, which doesn't have grab handles to find out next time I'm there.

I JUST installed grab handles in mine 2 weeks ago. Yes you will have to drill on the driver's side AND the passenger side. 4 new holes on the driver's side, and 2 on the passenger (if upgrading to the newer, longer handles). Not hard, and only took me about an hour to install both sides. You will need 6 M6-1.0 body speed nuts (Dorman 454110). Metal shavings will be everywhere, so have a vacuum handy. Start with a tiny drill bit in your right angle drill for a pilot hole, and then go with a step bit to finish it off from the back side.
I put the new A-pillar in, marked the center of the holes, pulled it out, drilled the pilot, drilled with the step, installed the speed nuts (u-bolts to some) and then installed the handles. My holes were NOT in the same place Tylus drilled his. But I had the A-pillars and handles as a set.
If you need A-pillars and handles, PM me or check in the classifieds down at the bottom.
