Morning fellas!

At home with sick kid today, yippee! Well maybe I can sneak out to the garage and get a small project crossed off the list. What's up with this cool weather? Yuck!

Found out this morning that my old 7.3 I sold a guy locally 2 years ago was in another accident. I guess he ran a stop sign and t boned a car. Luckily no one was seriously hurt. He was actually able to drive the truck back to his home. After the first accident where he hit a deer he put on one of those big Herd bumpers on it. Which is why I am guessing he drove home after this one. So since I have sold it to him he has hit a deer, had the engine on fire and now this accident. Poor truck has had a rough life after I sold it.

The engine started on fire?

I remember you saying he got into an accident a while ago, didn't they jerk him around on the 05 front end?

Yeah there ended up being a short or something with the aih heater. He knew there was an issue I guess but never checked it out. Started it up one morning and then came back to it a minute later because he saw smoke coming out from under the hood. Luckily they got it put out right away. Fixed the wiring and stuff and it was good to go again.

Yep they didn't want to pay him for the 05 front end I put on. Would only pay for stock replacement parts regardless if the 05 stuff would have been cheaper. Stupid insurance companies.

They wouldn't cut him a check for the costs? Then he could have gotten fixed with the parts he wanted.

That is what he ended up doing after they wouldn't pay to fix it the way it was. He just got the check and then hired someone to do the work on it.

Good evening fellas...
Got my cousin's 34 out of the body shop (final touch up)..
Still some niggling electrical issues with the fuel injection system.
We're hoping to make it to Pete & Jakes open house show middle of June.
