Good evening fellas
Got a buncha rain on the way. It rained lightly here for a couple hours this afternoon already.
I did manage to get the Asparagus Patch cleaned up of all last years ferns and then mowed the stubs off. Being 6-8 feet deep and about 30' wide, we get a lot of produce from it.
I would like to find a weed killer other than Round-up to control the weeds in the patch. Round-up kills the weeds and slows the growth of Asparagus, and I am told it is harmless after 3 days - but the wife does not trust it. Not sure I do either.
Suggestions?

I am not much help on the weed killer Randy. I Roundup everything here and we don't grow any asparagus. If we want some we just drive down the road. There is a bunch growing in the road ditches.

Stopped raining a couple hours ago and the sun came out. It's 71 degrees right now.
Went for walk with Dar and our dog CoCoa and the two dogs we're dog-sitting for my sister.
One of our neighbors was giving away Hosta and Lillies, so I had to go back with the little Jeep and load up. Hey, free is the right price I guess...
I managed to get the Blizzaks off the Jeep and installed the summer tires too. That will be better for driving and fuel economy...
Everything is ready in the shop to move the GT40 out to its new owner next week.
Feeling a little sick to my stomach about that but.....

Sounds pretty good Jay although 90's is a bit too warm for me this early in the year. Haha
