If I do manage to find one with little to no rust under body, what is the recommended treatment on here to help prevent further rust?
Line X, POR 15? Also I've never looked in to it are there usually shops that specialize in under body rust prevention? How much would something like that typically run, or is it something that is easy enough to do over a couple weekends?

POR 15 works best if applied like the name suggests. Paint over rust. If it isn't rusty I prefer a good undercoating spray from a can. I have known several people who get metal to a nice clean state, then aren't satisfied with how long the POR 15 lasts on it.

Please, as a general rule, don't hijack another thread for your own means. Just start your own thread so we can help you spend your money on a purchase. Then once you get it, start other threads where we can help you spend your money on fixing things and upgrading things and modifying things, all in a safe manner that won't cause the moon to shift orbit!
