A friend of mine brought his 7.3 over and asked me to "check it out". So I did. I believe it's a 2000 f350 quad cab long bed dually 2 wd 5 speed. He did a complete body swap from an 05 king ranch... it's a nice truck!
I could not see the barometer at all through the torque app, his ebp was reading 14.4 and map was at 12.2. According to my research his map should be at 14.7 at my level. I unplugged his map and it went to 14.2, plugged it back in and right back to 12.2.
I recall having a similar problem with the map on my old 7.3 but don't remember exactly what the problem was. I recall buying a new map sensor and it not making a difference. He recently tuned the truck despite me telling him not to until this was sorted out and I knew his truck was 100% and he had gauges! Some people's kids....
Any good help is appreciated, thanks guys. I'd be around a lot more if it wasn't for this mobile app! I absolutely hate it and can't set a default to the regular desk top as far as I know!
If I know your computer hardware, I might know of a way to default to the full site.
As for the weird MAP reading, I seem to recall that is done in some of the "cheap" tunes to duck the overboost issue. Since the MAP defaults to sea level with no sensor plugged in, we can suspect the sensor - but we can't be sure with that damn tune in there.
All I know about the tune is it is a TS chip. I'm not sure who actually tuned it. Knowing him it was the cheapest thing he could find on amazon... next time he stops over I'll pull it and see what happens
About all I can tell you is its a Samsung S6 phone
At the bottom of every mobile page on the forum, there is a gray bar that says "View Full Site". The last time I clicked that, the full site was default on my iPhony until I clicked a gray "View Mobile Site". It's worth a try... but get ready for a crowded screen.
