I have 2000 f450. 7.3 zf6 truck. Low boost. If I unplug map sensor it feels a little better but still not the power it should have. I've heard that ebp sensor could cause same issue. Should I replace mao sensor or ebp? Or both? Thanks in advance
Get an OBDII adapter and some software and go from there. Bluetooth adapter for andriod, WIFI for Apple products. ForeScan is popular right now and it's free or cheap.
I agree with Walleye Hunter. Without more info we are shooting in the dark too.
You could buy the sensors but you are spending money, throwing on the wall, and see what sticks. Invest a few bucks in an OBDII adapter and monitor some parameters. That will give you an idea of where things are going awry.
Plenty to read on here about PIDS, data points, and expected values. Post up your numbers and plenty more knowledgeable than me will be able to help you narrow things down.
Low boost isn't likely to be a MAP sensor problem, but it can't be ruled out until you get some readings. Do you have soot anywhere under the hood - particularly near the firewall?
