52k on the bike, which if it has been properly maintained isn't really bad. I messaged him back again to make sure, he said "pending looking at the truck he is good with even swap"

I have no desire to get another bike like that, if I got another I'd prefer a bagger. However if he wants to trade even then pending a test ride I would be for it. Slap the bike up for $2250, take $2000 and double my profit.

Apparently dad did well in his rehab yesterday. He walked 20 ft using the parallel bars. Did some upper body exercises.. had him move between the bed to a chair vise vera a few times.. and had him sit in a wheel chair to pull himself around the track for a few laps using only his feet. so pretty well considering sunday he could only take 2 steps before tiring out.

Sparky, that's a great step in recovery. Glad to hear it! Hope he keeps at it like that.

Larry, something doesn't seem right. Unless he just couldn't sell the bike. Clean and Clear title in his name right? If he rides the bike over, that will probably be a good sign that it can do some miles.

Hope ya'll are enjoying this beautiful weekend we're having.

Shari and I stayed busy around the house all day yesterday, yes still going through stuff and getting ready for the move. I sold my Hickory wood stash to a guy that has made me several different offers, and he finally gave in and paid what I told him it would take to buy it a week ago.
And I found out ahead of time through a friends wife back home, that Home Depot was going to put Kingsford Charcoal on sale. So there went the cash that I had in my pocket for almost 2 hours. But, I have a good start on this years charcoal.
Today we're taking it easier, at least I am. I was back on paid pills yesterday evening. Oh, and Wrestlemania tonight!!!

We went to the Fastest of the Fast yesterday in Sanford. Had a pretty good time, and got a sun burn out of the deal.

Deisel powered Rail, cool buy didn't have anything for the other guys.

The 2 Scooby doo's, and Dirty fantasy, yes a chick drives it.

Jeep that rolled, to much horsepower and not enough wheel base.

Buddy of mine in the Outlaw DOT class, he found out how deep the big pit really is.

Well this past weekend, I found out a friend from another car club, his wife had a stroke on Friday night. Young lady too only in her 30's and just had a baby 2 weeks ago. From what I understand she is recovering well. Then, found out a member of my car club had a stroke on Friday night as well. I had met him and 5 others for dinner on Friday to work out plans for a car show, and apparently after it was over he went home and had a stroke! Then, a friend in another car club passed away on Saturday. I hadn't seen him since we did a Christmas parade together back in early December, and I had recently heard he was in the hospital, but I didn't know any details. Apparently he was fighting liver cancer and it spread pretty rapidly. So, I'm making a trip to Wake Med on Tuesday to visit my club member and then attending the funeral of my other friend on Thursday. And probably go to the wake on Wednesday evening as well. So they say bad things come in three's right, I hope that is it for a while!
