That sounds like the best way to do it, as long as the shroud goes back far enough.

By the way, the shroud looks good.

thats the reason why i built it in two pieces, move the whole shroud back will probably not

Thank you guys.
That's why I built the shroud in two parts, moving the whole shroud back maybe won´t help, I have to try to insert the fan blade between the box and the round part, otherwise I'll just have to loosen the radiator.
I´ll try tomorrow.

When I agreed with moving the shroud backwards I was referring to the round part. From the way it is built, that looks like the logical approach.

It appears to be a really nice design and the craftsmanship looks excellent.

Crimped the spark plug wires on thje distributor side and hooked them up, i see it as a mock up currently i will shorten them later to fit nicer.

i got the fan in the shroud like we considered it to do ...

need to add a little notch for the lower radiator Hose.

mock up with an old fan blade.

In the meantime I have installed the brand new Classic Instruments Gauge Cluster, now I just have to hook up the wires.

I was just looking at that and thinking how cool it is to see the speedo done in KPH.

Ahh, but of course. Ingo is from Denmark.
