it´s a Build Thread now ;-)

Thank you for the kind words and compliments, I need that sometimes :-) . I always admire the other guys here for their knowledge and skills.

I wasn't sure for a long time how to hold the tiltable flatbed open, I was considering a simple prop or gas struts, then I stumbled across linear actuators, that China stuff is pretty cheap, so i thought it´s worths a try ....

turned some plugs on the lathe to fit in the bedrails for Micro Turnsignals:

they are so tiny but so bright.

Test fit the new Aluminium Radiator and 18" Flexfan.
The Radiator sits to high, the Fan will hit the Transcooler Connections.
Fan is pretty close to the Radiator.

lowered the Fan about 1 1/2" and shortened the Fan Adapter 1/4" on the lathe, so now it´s enough space for Fan and Radiator.

so now i just need to weld the lower hose connection from the passenger side to the driver side.

Thank you.

In the meantime i have only done some small things.
We changed the radiator connections from passenger side to driver side, i hope the radiator is still tight:

I ordered some AN8 fuel line stuff and have connected the fuel line,

painted the gastank,

built a rear lower panel with hole for the gasfiller,

i turned some bushes and adapters on the lathe to align the alternator, servo pump and pulleys

I decided to use this very primitive tailgate latch and used tailgatecables from a modern pickup to hold the tailgate in place. Will paint the latches red later.

last mockup before i bring the new bed to the paintshop
