Thank you. I was going to use WD-40 but battery terminal cleaner is better.

Maybe bust out the soldering iron or at the very least the crimpers and take those wire nuts off the headlights while you're at it too

If he doesn't, he'll be trying to figure out why the installation failed after only a year or two. Corrosion won't take long, and will be even quicker if he's in the Salt Belt.

As a mechanic when I am doing any wiring that is susceptible to moisture I use connectors that have heat shrink and solder built into them. They are a little more about $.35 a butt connector but definitely worth it.
