I have a 1978 Ford bronco and I need information on how to get my headlight to be on low bean. One works on low the other does not. But they both work on high...I have changed the wires in the one that doesn't not work on low and still won't come on. But will work on high. How do I get my one headlight to work on low beam?...I have placed a new headlight in the one tht doesn't work and nothing the other headlight is the one it came with and it works just fine. And if I change the headlight back to the old ones they both work. I'll send a pic if someone can help me.thank you
Hello Cody, and welcome to the forums.
Which side doesn't work?
Have you checked the wiring itself? You may have a broken wire/connection somewhere. I would look at the plug itself where the wires attach. It's possible that the wire or connector broke.
Also, for future reference, it's always a good idea to make your thread subject pertain to your issue. Something like, "Lowbeam won't work on one headlight" or even "headlight issue". You'll get a LOT more help that way, trust me.
What does a test light tell you or are you just moving parts around and guessing? Do you have power at the headlight plug in both high and low beam? Is the ground good on that side?
