I just did the bubble test again, no bubbles. As for the ficm relay, how would that be the cause? A relay is a switch, if it's not working then I wouldn't get any voltage, no?
Sometimes the internals of the relay don't make good contact, I've seen and read of them doing some wild stuff and you can't consistently reproduce your issue.
I know you've been through it pretty much, but did the plugs snap into the sockets? And you don't have a loose pin?

Oh, I didn't know, I will check the relay then. And oh, yea. . . I have thoroughly went through the ficm! I do know that 2 of the plugs don't snap anymore due to the harness clips. But I make sure they are pushed in all the way.
The 03 does and it is one of the last points on a TSB when checking a misfire.
Hmm, idk, I was going to ask that about check valves in the hpop system, I read somewhere that the tabs come loose and end up in the oil rail and you need to empty the oil rail and check it for tabs. I'm not sure if mine has any. I will look into it though. Thanks
Ok, so here's an update. I took the logic board and tossed it in the oven at 400* for 8 minutes to reflow. I have it installed in the truck now and it sounded like a different truck. And so far, no misses. I'll update with news as it comes.
There is a trick to the plugs that have broken clips. Something to do with a heater hose to help hold them tight. Hose is installed under the plugs and the mounts hold the ficm in place or something like that. Maybe tie wraps to hold the hose.... You'll need to do a little searching.

And I'd be considering a logic fix to yours.
Thank you for the tip Watson. I appreciate it. It's easier than buying new plugs. Anyway, so far, so good. It actually missed once so far and that's it. It's running much better. So I think I'm going to buy a new ficm. Anyone have any tips for me? Best and cheapest place that has them pre-programmed?
So basically, there's neatcomputers and autocomputerexchange.net. First one is $175, they send it to you first then u send in core, the latter is $236 and it is the same service. Any advise?

Oh and allcomputerrecources for $199
We have taken care of literally thousands on this board alone, John, and would be honored to earn your business. We carry pre-programmed and ready to go units and even offer aftermarket programming options! Www.ficmrepair.com ftw!

John, there really is no reason to look any further. Just search all the FICM threads on this forum and you'll see between product and customer support they really are top shelf.
I'd contact http://www.ficmrepair.com
I've had a repair business in the Marine industry for about 40 years. I have a saying pay me now or pay me MORE later. Sometimes a cheap fix costs more later. Get Ed to fix it, you'll thank your wallet later down the road. Injectors are 235 each plus the labor to install them. Also make sure your batteries are up and your alt is working properly, the major cause of FICM failure.

I agree 100% with you as far as you get what you pay for and the electrical system being in tip top condition. I just bought batts and alt about a year and a half ago. But has no one tried these other options? They are all the same, you get a used logic board. A board that has been 'resoldered' or more accurately, reflowed. Basically the same thing I did, then tested. How can you really compare quality there? Electronic components are electronic components. They do or they don't. And I really don't have the extra $100 to pay. I am really hoping someone can chime in and tell me which one is best out of the ones I've posted.
