I would guess that double moonroof is the reason you can't get the Lariat Ultimate on a supercab. I personally don't like those big moon roofs. I thought it was dumb to try and make me buy the whole chrome package just to get a running board..... I guess I think more like a consumer and not a seller....
Yes the Canada Ford site is quite different on options I just found out tonight. You can get stand alone LED headlights without getting the Lariat Ultimate Package but you do need to add the BLIS upgrade, they must be tied together.
Also it appears that Dual Alternators, Engine Block Heater, and Rapid Heat Supplemental Heater is standard equipment.
I hope FORD USA will take some advice from our Friends up North!
I would like to upgrade my 2002 Lariat SC in 2018. So I too would like to see Ford USA offer LED lighting on the SC like they do in Canada. I don't really need a CC just to get the LED lighting. My biggest reason not to order a CC is that the 2018 would be 18 inches longer than my current 02 SC. Really hate to give up 18 inches of garage space. But if they are not offered, probably just get a 2018 Lariat SC anyway. By the way, Dual Alternators, Engine Block Heater, and Supplemental Heater are also standard in Wisconsin with no additional charge. Now what would really be nice is if Ford built the King Ranch in the SC version. Al
Would love to know of 2018 changes and in particular if wide track front end is added as F350 DRW option and if they've added TPMS to F450. The big missing features from 2017 in each.
Any chance you could take a few more pictures of the brochure? Any chance I can get a heated steering wheel with out buying the Lariat Ultimate package?
thank you, I had been to the fleet site and noticed the same thing, checked body builder guides, tow guides, they all show the 2018 but as you noted either the tabs have not been enabled (body builder) or the link takes you to the 2017 truck.
I hope this thread finally comes up with something on the 2018's. I went to a dealer today with an inclination of buying a KR F350 dually but neither the wife or I could warm up to it. Didn't care for the color much and not optioned the way we would like it. It appears the only way we can get what we want is to order. At this late date I am reluctant to order a 17 and feel an 18 is the way to go. May even wait until after the first of the year to do the order and hope some incentives are available by the time it comes in.
