Jesus, if thats really what the interior of the KR is going to look like, I'm glad I got my '17. And will be keeping until they change the interior again.
That shouldn't take long. When orders for King Ranch trucks plummet, Ford will figure it out.
Wait until the pumpkin trucks hit the lots... People will be stopping to get a good laugh.
I wonder if they're gonna put Direct Injection and Port Injection on the 6.2L??
I understand they're thinking about doing it to the 5.0L and reducing the engine size to a 4.8L
Ford is working on a new (reported) 7.0l that will likely be direct injection. It is said to be a V10 replacement. I don't doubt there is something in the works for the 6.2 also, I have yet to see any info regarding that.
The 2018 F150 is coming with the new gen 5.0, (not 4.8 like some reported). It will have direct and port injection. The HP/TQ numbers should be released in June.
A bit premature don't you think? The 2017 brochure just recently got released to the dealership and you're already wanting to order a 2018? You may as well go make a deal with your local Ford dealership and get the anxiety of waiting over with.
I just read the '18 F-150 order guide posted in this thread and noticed that the new "Kingsville" King Ranch interior replaces "Mesa" and the Super Duty King Ranch interior color is "Java". What are the odds that the '18 model year F-150's and Super Duties have different color interiors? Maybe the Super Duty King Ranches won't have the pumpkin interior?

if you look at the pictures posted earlier in this thread, everything but the seats seems to be the same. I'm pretty sure Java is the brown color of dash, doors, carpet, etc, and the change for 2018 is that the leather seat color is now Kingsville instead of mesa. So in other words, Java doesn't mean you don't get the ugly new seats, although I would love it if the 2018 SD kept the 17 KR interior.
