I thought someone said the 18 SD will be taking orders in September? At least that's what I read on here from someone who spoke with a person from ford....?

Yes order banks are in September and the order guide it typically a week or two prior to that.

Any idea how late you can order 2017 and still be confident you'll get it? I don't need to take delivery until December so was thinking I'd just get a model year newer but this has changed my mind. Orange seats..... Wtf....?

I wonder if they're gonna put Direct Injection and Port Injection on the 6.2L??
I understand they're thinking about doing it to the 5.0L and reducing the engine size to a 4.8L
Has anybody torn apart a newer 6.2?
There's usually a tell-tale 'bump' inside the combustion chamber of the Head where the Direct Injection Port would go.
I'd like to see it. Push torque up to 450lb-ft (easy) and HP up to 400HP (again, easy).
Nice, round, marketing numbers.
But that would make sense. Since when do any of those peeps try to make sense??
Ford is the best of them and they're better than Generic Motors or Fiat...... But not by a whole lot.

Not a fan of the lighter color leather covering so much. I like how it is an accent in the 2017 KR. I'm now even more pleased with my selection if Caribou is going away as a color...

IMO July is fine. I would not wait till August. They start running down paint colors and options and may end up running out of a certain option to complete a package. Which that can also turn into allocation issues in August for ordering.
