When will they hit? I know stock units will probably hit in December, but if job 1's are not scheduled until 11/20 figure 8 weeks for orders after that date depending on when you get in line correct? Just wondering when I should really expect to get my truck.

stock units are built for the 1st 5 days. As long as there are no issues found which there should not be being hardly any changes, customer orders will start to be built. Once built, they will ship. There is nonreason a customer order thatvwas put in this early should not hit by end of December. Will not take 8 weeks after it is built to hit the dealer. The only possible delay that I could see is the Limited model.
Ford HAS to get 18s on the lot by end of december.
On top of all that, your dealer could simply order the truck as dealer stock (priority 20) instead of retail (priority 10) to get it ASAP. Lots of dealers did this for guys when the 2017 order banks first opened.

I would guess that priority 1 trucks will be out in late December, how long does it take to make all of those that are backlogged? I have heard that they make 400 trucks a day. 10 days is 4,000 trucks. Even the first truck will not hit the rail car until ~12/15/2017.
Factor in Thanksgiving holidays (2?), Christmas, vacations for workers, etc. and the line should be a little slower during that time of year.
I suspect that larger fleets will come first. Oil companies, ambulance companies, municipalities, etc. Many large companies buy a lot of trucks. They get built first, assuming they ordered early.
That is one reason whey I bought my 2017, other than no real difference in 2017 vs 2018. I wanted a truck in 2017 for tax purposes.
It takes two weeks to get a truck from the factory in KY to my MN dealer after it is built. It took from 7/20 to 9/1 to get my truck total. That's four weeks to build, and two weeks to deliver. Beginning from the Thursday order pickup, on a priority 10.
If they start the build on 11/20, very few people will get a truck in 2018, if any. The limited model is just an option package with fancy badging, nothing more. 4,000 trucks at most will be built by the end of December, and many of those will not be at the final destination until 2018.

my dealer explained that to me, and offered to order mine as dealer stock
I spoke with my dealer yesterday, he says the order bank is open.
He said if i give him an order in September I should expect arrival end of December or first weeks of January.
He also said Ford is ramping up production to replace Houston area trucks as lots of current dealer inventory going there.
Texas residents who have an insurance flood claim can get Fords A plan and 0% financing for 72 months, so this will reduce inventories of 2017 models substantially.
2 options I had no idea on or couldn’t find info on.. the option on steering was like gear something steering over active steering.. and the carpet flooring and the unknown premium flooring
