I don't think she is negative toward vets. She is the most military-supportive of our reps. However, you might get better turn-around from whoever your house rep is (fewer constituents per rep). DiFi has > 17 million constituents, so giving an individual some attention is is not really in her job description.

Could have said it better Hank
Well are we ready for round 20 of rain , possible hail, and some snow , I just got finished discing around the property , knocking down the grass and new weeds starting , then hooked up the tiller and hit the Orchard , after that I jumped on my little mower and started mowing , just to wrap up a tee shirt left in the tall grass I didn't see around the blades , I'll mow after the rain stops and things dry out ( I'm done).

The hypocrite politician that claims to be an "environmentalist", yet has the nerve to publicly proclaim that Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is San Francisco's birth right?... Ummm, does anybody else see the irony and hypocrisy here? Hetch Hetchy Valley was a huge slice of national treasure, a valley some have referred to as "Yosemite Valley's twin". Yet Senator Feinstein has the nerve claim that keeping the dam erect, that submerges Hetch Hetchy Valley's natural beauty below water, is the birthright of her constituents in SF for their precious green lawns? And she's an "environmentalist"? WRONG! I'm no tree hugger, but I have little respect or regard for hypocrites.

My dad never liked Feinstein, and my brother either, which is why I am not going to deal with her. Kamala D. Harris will have to do.

Do I understand this correctly, Jim? Are you saying that if you would have passed the automatic transmission automotive class, they would have covered your VA educational benefits, but if you fail it puts the responsibility on the student for payment? I don't understand that logic. Unless the case was that the student was somehow abusing the system, I don't understand how this makes sense.

I hope you get it worked out with the VA.

Under the old GI Bill, they will pay you to go to school. For each class I took I got paid $384 a month. The only stipulation was that I pass the class. I didn't pass the transmission class, so the VA wants the $384 a month back. That is what I am thinking. I could be wrong. It has been 33 years since I went to school and my memory is no where near what it used to be. I did go to school up here in Clovis when I first moved up here in 2004 (I actually moved up in Dec of 2003, but the classes were in full swing by then) but that was for computer repair, and my GI Bill benefits were long used up by then.

Jim,
It could also be a cross up concerning name or miss typed ID number. Still a pain in the posterior.

We have good weather here today headed for the mid 80's by the weekend and I am laid up with a massive migraine.

Hope everyone else has a good day/week. It can only get better for me. 8 hours for the nausea and light sensitivity to go away, just dealing with the residuals now.

Bummer. Tell Ms Feinstein to block the move, she needs them here for her constituents. LOL.
