Beautiful day today! I was working on the house (baseboards) and every time I went outside to use the miter saw I paused for a second to notice how nice the weather was, figuring that as soon as I'm done I was going to sit on the deck and veg in the sun... Well, I got done with the baseboard project and in came the clouds... Darn it, and tomorrow the temperatures are supposed to drop like a rock and even some morning snow. Oh well, next time I'll put off the project till I get my fill of sunshine. Hmmmph

Happy Friday Nor Cal.

The company that made (or sold) the TV wall mount sent me an email regarding my feedback on Amazon. Then they gave me a $10.00 refund on the price because I stated it took longer than usual to install it because I was disabled. Yesterday they send me an email telling me they have an updated model coming out in 1-2 months, and asked if they could send it to me free for evaluation. I said yes, so not only do I get a $10 price cut on the one I bought, they are sending me a better one free. I will have someone install it next time though.

That's a pretty good deal Jim. Waiting so long to wall mount my tv is one of my few regrets in life... Haha.

Hauled home a new safe today. My brother has a liberty warehouse about 20 minutes from his place so went and picked her up right at the source. They loaded it with the fork lift but it took a small army of us to get it out...

When we moved my buddy's safe, we used his engine hoist with some heavy duty straps which worked very well once we found the balance point.

My safe is nowhere near the size of those mentioned. Used to be able to lift it all by myself, but those days are gone. Still, I think it only weighs in at 100 pounds or so.
