late 99 no start!!

Ben a while guy's since I have had fun playing on FTE website, Got sucked into installing a set of stage 2 single shots from full force diesel. they reburned the chip, and I just stated to get everything back together, when I pulled the chip out of the computer with my foot. Truck died, no fuel pump, no tach, no wait to start light, and a constant check engine light. Did the obvious fuses, relay's, wiggling of the harness, ect. still waiting for the tow truck to drop her off.
any one with a good idea I'm listenin

I assume the truck was running fine until you dislodged the chip with your foot? You may need some PCM work, but that is only speculation at this point.

I am with Sous on this too. If the ignition was on when this happened you may have damaged the PCM.

I posted in the welcome section. All info I have indicates connection or disconnection of ts-6 or similar devices with power to the ecm will cause damage. I would say it will need to be replaced.

Swamps is repairing PCMs now for about $475. Much cheaper than a rebuilt PCM for $900+ https://swampsdiesel.com/products/fo...build-service/

I toasted my PCM last year. Troubleshooting water in the IDM, and removed the chip with the key in the ignition. Fried the memory module in the PCM. You have likely done the same. Cost me $900 to get a new one, and that was only because I used my brother's Ford account at his dealership. Would have been about $1100 without the discount.

I just borrowed my buddies snapon solus ultra. cant communicate with anything, made sure I have power at the obd terminal and cant read codes, cant even do a buzz test. So if I cant talk to the PCM swamps is were to go. Figures. thanks for the input, which my PCM wants nothing to do with!
