Just a post to state an opinion that OEM's are probably the best way to go on injectors.

I did see some of that. The guys I'm working with have never had an issue with parts they have gotten through them and they did a great job with my head job. Only reason I had them do my injectors is it was actually still winter here at the time and I just have a driveway to work in or I would have done them myself. They run a lot of 6.0 through their shop as well as other custom diesel work so I'll give them the benefit for now. They have also said there are now issues with the direct from ford injectors and some other parts but that seems to be par for the course on many parts and dealers depending on whom you speak to.

Kind of what I have been hinting at.........there are countless threads here over the years of guys that went with something besides Ford remans, and ended up going with them, some even after two times the same hole.

I'm sure it's hard to think the injectors are the issue, totally understand especially at a reputable 6.0 shop.

I don't know that I have heard of any issues lately with Ford remans, or folks like Anthony who works on these every day would have let us know by now.
What still strikes me as odd is the FICM was working well before, but yeah...it's a 6.0 so you you never know
