I aquired an '82 F-100 almost two years ago. When I found her, she had sat in a field for four and a half years, weathering harsh winters, wet springs, and long hot summers. She emerged in excellent shape, a little rusting, and, of course, in need of some work.
$3k in parts later, she is mechanically sound, and sits straight as an arrow.
I know a few things about the make, but I feel my knowledge to be lacking greatly. I knew nothing of wehicles until this one. I bought a book, and have learned through trial and error.
Anyway, anything anyone can tell me that I didnt already know would be appreciated.
