Removing Windshield
I found a nice windshield in an '04, complete with the SUPER DUTY across the top, at a local yard and I'm planning to pull it tomorrow. Since I've never pulled one of these I'm guessing just cut the rubber all the way around and pull the glass? Any tips/tricks?

Cutting out a windshield is not that easy. You for sure need to cut the urethane used to installed the windshield all the way around it.
Is it one of those places where you break it and you bought it?
I would ask them if you attempt to cut it out and it cracks, do you still have to pay for it.
I would contact a local glass company and ask them what might be the best method and tools to remove the windshield and re-use it.

Go by your local parts house such as Advance or the others and ask them about tools to "cut" the urethane to remove the windshield. You might think twice about trying to remove it.

That video makes me realize it's not very difficult at all. Especially since I priced one from Harding Glass at $460! If it breaks I'll have the chips in mine filled, tint across the top and add a SUPER DUTY sticker to it.

It is not overly difficult if you have the tools like in the video. If you have a box cutter and other similar knives, then the task is going to be a pain. Then you do need someone to help lift it out.
If you happen to get it out and not cracked, you need to transport the windshield standing on edge. Do not lay it down to transport it.

I'm going to get the wire and a helper and cut it out. I'll update the results. I don't know why but I really like the newer windshields. Lol

I tried removing the windshield in my 04 and it didn't go so well. I would call a windshield place and see how much it would cost to have them remove it for you. They have the tools and know how to do it without it cracking.
