So I'm currently on a trip from LA to Las Vegas. Breaking in the new rig. 17 6.7 Platinum. It's the middle of the afternoon and the sun is blaring. I have my headlights set to automatic and the headlights keep turning on. At least I think that's what's happening because my dash lights and keep dimming along with the radio dimmer while I'm driving. Could the sunlight sensor be faulty? Anyone else have this problem?

If the headlights are on, you will see the green indicator.
I have noticed my auto lights are more sensitive on this truck vs my previous. Lately, I'll be in the middle of my drive to work in the morning when ambient light gets enough to turn the headlamps off. This is usually well after sunrise when it's day-bright outside. Then, I'll drive into a shadow or the truck creates a shadow from the B pillars that falls over then sensor at a stoplight, and they kick back on. Does this several times on the way to work usually, and again, it's pretty much full-bright out. In my wife's old Infiniti, you could adjust the sensitivity, but nothing like that is possible in the Ford that I know of.
