It sounds like it's for flashing the lights when you lock the car. Telling us what you're working with would be helpful though. Not every aftermarket system is wired the same, or uses the same colors.
Did it not come with instructions? Or, was it used? If new it "should" have a set of directions with diagram where ALL the wires go, maybe not the exact point in your truck but at least to what circuit you need to find...
For the parking light "on", I pull the dash and get into the headlight switch. Determine which wire is the parking lights and tap into it. I cut/solder but you can use a scotch lok if you like. Only problem with scotch loks is it will(sooner more then later) fail or not make a good connection.
I've installed a couple Bulldog Security remote starts and that is how they work. Don't know why you have 2 brown wires? Should only need one wire.
Sounds good. I used a scotch lok once and after about a year the parking lights quit coming on. That is when I cut it and soldered it and never had an issue since. I soldered all the other connections on the ignition switch.
I'm not sure if this is the same, but I fitted an eBay special last year to an old Jag and it also had 2 wires which were simply described as single in the instructions. So after playing around with them I discovered that when the doors where locked there were 2 half seconded bursts of power to them. Then a single one when you opened the doors so I connected them to the left and right turn signals.
So when locking and unlocking you had a visual reference but it didn't affect the turn-signals normal operation!
The horn works by grounding a relay right? If the second brown wire links to ground then it would be easy enough to splice it in with the horn switch. But, if it gets +12V you would have to wire in a second relay that either sent power to the horns, or spliced into the ground on the horn switch. I think, I'm assuming the horn circuit hasn't changed much since my old '69 was built.
Horn...........ugh and be another ANNOYING person that blows their horn every time they lock their door.
Doesn't ANYONE ever just push the button on the door? Just a pet peeve of mine.
I watched three girls in less then a 1 minute at the gas station do the same scenario. Get out of their car, walk like 15 ft away, turn around and point their keys at the car and blow the horn(lock the doors).
20 yrs ago it was "vogue" to show the world you had a car alarm. Today it's just annoying. How about this, get out of the car, reach down and push the button and close the door. Yea, that simple.

Rant over, sorry..................
LOL, the horn idea was just a thought. I didn't mean to induce a rant
I see your point though, I always just push the button when I'm locking it. But I would like keyless entry just for unlocking, since my key only goes in halfway in my passenger door and only works in the drivers side after I turn the key back and forth about six times.
When I put the Bulldog remote start in my '95 this past fall, I tried to wire the door locks. OMG, what the heck is up with that. You need to tie into the door button wires down in the kick panel. Only problem is you can't get to them because of the aluminum casting that the dash is tied into. My '89 didn't have this in the way and you could get to the wiring harness in the corner. Not the '95! The only place you can reach the wires is in the rubber flex conduit that ties into the door. I was not going to butcher that up. I'll figure it out somehow.
I too just like to be able to unlock doors while running to the truck in the rain....kinda deal.
Oh, ya, I give my g/f grief with her new Jeep and that stupid horn crap. I show her every time I drive how I push the damn lock button on the door before shutting the door. Then I tell her......"See, you don't have to wake the freak'n neighbors up every time you lock the doors". I think its starting to sink in.
I found a wire to disconnect in my '96 that lets the remotes operate (lock and unlock) the door locks with the engine running, and the horn does not sound. Turn off the ignition normally and the remotes, door locks and horn work as normal.
