So i got AE ordered and on the way and a nice list of stuff to throw at my truck or as Tugly would say a few BucksZooka rounds.

Bellowed up-pipes
gtp38 conversion kit
none ebpv pedestal
high flow outlet
ebp pigtail
airdog II
FRx
HPx
high flow cvd's
high flow banjo bolts
afe bladerunner intake
plenum inserts
complete boot kit
boot "T" clamp kit
over-boost regulator
melling LPOP
CCV relocate kit
coolant filter kit
glowplugs
UVC Harnessx2

I plan on doing this to my 2001 F350 that has 309xxx KM (193xxx miles).
as of right now all it has is a AFE stage 2 intake and a 4' turbo back exhaust.
have i missed anything??

Edit: i also plan on getting a HPOP and injectors. just not yet.

Save money.....

Delete the Airdog, Bladerunner, the "high-flow" snake oil, the crankcase vent junk, and the two items ending in "x" from your list and you"ll be good.

This is just my opinion, but here we go...

Bellowed up-pipes - Keep
gtp38 conversion kit - Keep if you don't want to get a 38R or KC38R
none ebpv pedestal - Keep if you don't need the EBPV
high flow outlet - Keep if deleting the EBPV
ebp pigtail - Use a 460 ohm resistor instead
airdog II - Remove
FRx - Remove
HPx - Remove and add high flow non-check valve fittings to the HPOP
high flow cvd's - Remove
high flow banjo bolts - Remove
afe bladerunner intake - Remove and go AIS or S&B based on your needs
plenum inserts - Keep
complete boot kit - Keep
boot "T" clamp kit - Keep
over-boost regulator - May not need depending on type of tune (Gear Head removes the overboost issue in their tuning)
melling LPOP - Keep if getting that far into it
CCV relocate kit - Absolutely remove
coolant filter kit - Keep
glowplugs - Keep OEM only
UVC Harnessx2 - Keep
VC gasket x2 - Keep
edge insight cts2 - Remove, look at Hydra with your flavor of tune
edge eas competition kit - Remove
Hutch kit - Add Harpoon mod and keep or build your own

Consider what your goal is for the truck. I have the same truck as you and my end goal is to have an efficient and reliable tow pig and cross country traveler with the 5th wheel attached to it. I have done a lot to the truck, and now am in the preventive maintenance areas like HPOP lines, fuel bowl rebuild, etc...

I am not sure how your truck does with axle wrap, but mine was atrocious, especially when the trailer was hooked up. See my video below about traction bars. Not saying you have to pick up a set of OUO, but might want to think about it if your truck is problematic.

I do plan to step up to a 160/80 PIS injector and KC38R turbo. This will be the last of my performance upgrades and from there on will be replacing/maintenance.

I have also linked a couple of other threads I have done up for things that I have changed on the truck, see them below as well. Live and learn friend, ask questions and make informed decisions.

I agree with all of this, I have the X stuff and the snake oil and don't notice a difference at all waste of cash.
Also you can ditch the plenum inserts and get the billet Plenums well worth it imo

Looking at the suggestions

Bellowed up-pipes----Kept
gtp38 conversion kit----removed--- GTP38R instead---- does this come with the EBPV?
none ebpv pedestal-----removed
high flow outlet-----removed
ebp pigtail-----removed------ never read about the 460 ohm resister... Link?
airdog II-----removed
FRx-----removed
HPx-----removed---- 2 non check outlet hose fittings
high flow cvd's-----removed
high flow banjo bolts-----removed
afe bladerunner intake-----removed
plenum inserts-----removed----- RR billet plenums
complete boot kit-----kept
boot "T" clamp kit-----kept
over-boost regulator-----unsure, still deciding on either PHP or DP
melling LPOP-----kept
CCV relocate kit-----removed
coolant filter kit-----kept
glowplugs-----kept-----motocraft brand
UVC Harnessx2-----kept
VC gasket x2-----kept
edge insight cts2----- would like to keep for ease of gauge install
edge eas competition kit ------ ^^^^^^
Hutch kit----- kept will do harpoon mod while in there, new foot.
AIH plug code eliminator----- unless there is an easier way.

one question i got is, wouldn't the FRx be a good thing? giving the air if any a place to go instead of the injectors.

Also to add i'm setting this truck up as a daily driver/fun truck. I will be towing a boat or a camper but nothing huge(8000# give er take)

OHHH and Thank you for the help and suggestions, i really appreciate it.

Might want to add a transmission valve body, and then some gauges (or Elm and Torque Pro at a minimum).

I'm pretty sure the edge isn't going to read your boost with the big injectors and 38r. Unless there is an add on gauge you plan on adding for it. I hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong, but I think you could push right past what the factory map sensor can read / withstand. And you'll need to run some kind of pressure regulator to keep the map alive. Then you'll need an after market gauge to read "real" pressure.

Also this is just my opinion, but I hate driving with those screens at night. Might as well just keep a flashlight pointed at your eyes. I had an SCT live wire on my 6.0 and I'd shut it off or throw my hat over it at sundown. Made it useless for more than half my driving. What good is knowing egts or boost whenyou have a deer through your windshield?

If you use the Map to read your boost, you are correct Joe, it will show you what the PCM sees only, and if that is the over boost annihilator (or similar piece), it will max out below 25PSI because it is being fooled.

Unless I am totaly reading this wrong the edge insight isn't a tuner at all, Connected to the OBDII it just takes readings from the PCM for on the fly info going down the road.

Edge Insight CTS2 - Riffraff Diesel Performance

and the EDGE EAS Competition kit is just a addon for the insight that comes with a 0-100 psi sensor for boost and -40 to 300F for the Tans and a EGT probe

EDGE EAS Competition Kit - Riffraff Diesel Performance

I think the unlimited ways we can mount things like torque pro(tablet), the screen could be mounted out of the way enough to not bother me. Also a thank you for the valve body suggestion, definitely gonna look into this.

Call BTS in Lead Hill Ar. for the valve body. Brian does a nice job on them. His transmissions are top notch as well.
