E4OD no TC Lock up

E4OD no TC Lock up
Hi guys, a very rare situation I have with my E4OD Tranny.
The subject is a F150, 1992, 4.9L, E4OD, 4WD. My transmission was rebuilt at least 5 years ago and was working fine. Some weeks ago the Transmission cooler fails and the whole transmission got contaminated with coolant, so I removed, cleaned and assembly again. During the repair/assembly, I found some parts with too much wear so I took the parts from another E4OD from a Bronco 1995 4.9L 2WD. (Oil Pump, TC, front support & shaft, and some sub assemblies)
When the truck was running again, the transmission works fine BUT the Lock up was not working. After doing a lot of tests I removed again the transmission and found the Teflon green seal in front of the pump was not in place, in fact... I found it INSIDE the Torque Converter...!!!! totally mashed... well maybe it was not properly seated during TC installation, then I took a new one and re-assembly everything, test again again the truck and Ooohhh.. surprise!! the TC still not working
I Removed again the transmission and... the teflon seal was blow again inside the TC, the only difference it was broken in 3 to 5 pieces.
I'm asking me:
Maybe there are some parts incompatibility between oil pump and TC?? because of the different tranny years?
I double check the seal was properly installed on pump and the TC was installed/removed 2 times to be sure the seal remains in place, so I guess it was blown again as soon as the Lock up was applied? or maybe as soon as the truck was started again?
Well, any help/comment will be appreciated guys...

What type of sealing ring are you using? Is it a solid ring or a scarf cut ring? A solid ring may need to be sized down to fit into its bore.
Check the inside of the converter for damage that might be cutting the ring.
Test fit the converter a few times without cutting the ring before installing the transmission back into the vehicle.

Well problem solved.
Testing using a different TC didn't work, and cutting in half my own TC didn't show any problems, I decide to remove front oil pump to check TC control valve & TC pressure regulator and Surprise !!!
Bolts of the oil pump were excessive tight causing TC valve to stuck. After cleaning/inspection of pump and reassembly everything, Lock Up is working again
Thanks all
