I need a little help trying to estimate out what this thing might be worth. It's a very nice, straight, clean, rust free '71 Crew with a 390 2bbl, 4 speed, power steering, power brakes and A/C. I've found tons of standard cab trucks for sale but haven't seen a crew in a while.
Wow, that must have been stored inside. It looks very nice. The thing about "How much much is it worth" is determined by LOCATION, and how much that market will pay for it (simple old supply and demand). That truck in the Ohio rust belt would bring more than in Calif. or AZ.
With all the rust we have here, one of any configuration rust free would be probabably 5-8K at least. Add crew and options, and i'd say here you'd be looking at 12-15k.
I get the supply and demand thing, just don't see many of these type of trucks for sale, especially in this shape. Knowing that Texas is the 'truck capital' I shouldn't have any problem selling it (not that I want to, but it's part of my uncle's estate).
idealtrucks, my original thought was around $10K, so to see your response confirms my suspicion....thanks.
Oh, and you think this thing is cool, you should see his '65 Mustang or his '55 Tbird. :-)
