It's just the plastic one LMC sells. I did have to trim it a bit. I bought some rattlecan spray paint made for plastics and just sprayed it and put it in. Pretty straightforward.

Thought maybe I'd update the modified / refreshed list:

Reman'd 2150 carb
New ignition box (and I always carry a spare!)
Full rebuild on the NP435 / NP205 combo
New rear sliding window
New to me toolboxes in the bed / box mounted 60" Hi lift and air compressor
ARB Wiring Harness to the bed to run my fridge
Full ignition tuneup - Cap, Rotor, Plugs, wires / new fuel filters and soft lines
Lots of new vacuum lines and fittings, new PCV, new EGR
Dual Battery setup with AGM batteries
New Aluminum radiator
Tuff Stuff 100A 1 wire alternator / Reworked ammeter guage to read voltage (and I carry a brand new spare as well)
Deaver 5" Lift kit with adjustable track bar
James Duff Long Arm kit
Custom Track Bar drop bracket that brings the beef
Lengthened and rebuilt both drive shafts
78-79 style T steering with a drop pitman arm
Front Detroit True track / New Chrome moly shafts and Spicer 760X U joints for the Dana 44
New Warn Hubs, new Yukon 4.10 gears with master install kit
New front / rear brake lines
New ball joints
New (used) Detroit locker in the back, OEM 4.10 gears, Master install kit, new HD 31 spline Chrome moly axle shafts
New Ebrake cables / New rear wheel cylinders
Front and Rear Protofab prerunner style bumpers, rear with swing away tire carrier
Bilstein 5160 reservoir shocks all the way around
Dick Cepek 35x12.50/15 Extreme Country radials (5)
Corbeau Suspension bucket seats on a new seat frame with 4 point harnesses
Uniden PCL78 CB with Wilson 1000 antenna ("Cleaned")
New plastic headliner, painted to match interior / Sunroof deleted (aluminum patch)
Bedliner on the exterior to combat "Arizona pinstriping"
Fresh window tint on the sides and rear (old bubbly stuff was scraped off and replaced)
Slew of grab handles and aftermarket cup holders for the doors
New door hinge pins and bushings
Custom rock sliders with 3 mounting points on each side
Replaced rear tank filler neck hoses

I've got a 1500 mile trip planned later this year that has a stretch of nearly 400 miles on dirt without a fuel stop. Should be interesting. The intent all along was to build a reliable, simple expedition capable rig for week long adventures. So far, so good.

Power is stock for now. The old 351M runs well and seeps oil out the rear main, mostly because the truck sat for long periods of time before I owned it. One of these days I'll pull the motor and reseal it, and maybe try to build in a little more power, but it's not urgent.

I don't remember exactly. $60-70 maybe. I'm sure if you go to their site you could find it quickly. www.lmctruck.com

I'm going to need to get a new sig pic up.
Truck is currently in the shop getting a Dakota dash and......a new motor. Compression was way down on 2 cylinders; plenty of metal shavings in the pan, and the timing chain was so loose I'm surprised it didn't jump a tooth. That wasn't really planned, but I did ask for compression testing and one thing led to another.....The engine it had was a rebuilt one that went in the truck back in 1986. I even have the receipts for that....lol

It's getting another 351, but with more cam, and 9:1 compression, and a few other upgrades but we're keeping it largely stock for reliability. For now I'm keeping the 2bbl. Maybe I'll upgrade that later, but she still has to pass smog here.

Also going in is a new Champion 3 row radiator and all new door weather seals so the AC has a chance of keeping up.

More to come!

Hoping to have the truck back soon.

New Motor - Check. 351M with 9:1 pistons, full roller timing set, mild cam and all new accessories (dist, water pump, fuel pump, etc.)
Dakota Dash - check. Nice having gauges that work and it almost looks OEM.
All new door window seals - check. Also nice having windows that don't rattle anymore
New 3 row Champion Radiator - check. I added a 7 blade flex fan as well to keep it cool with the AC on.
9000lb winch - check. Why not? LOL

One of these days I'll update the full list of stuff done to this truck. I'm getting closer and closer to new truck money into this thing and it still has old oxidized paint (and it'll probably stay that way), but having all new mechanicals is nice.

Ouch for new truck money but that stuff isn't cheap when paying for labor....

I would honestly look to an electric fan conversion to pickup some HP and additional fan cooling....flex fans are the worst.

At minimum a factory clutched blade if wanting to stay mechanical.

Love the truck!!

Truck never had a fan clutch, and the stock 5 blade wasn't pulling enough air. The flex fan pulls a lot more air. Aside from having sharp edges, what's the issue with a flex fan?

As for an electric, part of the front is already covered by the small electric fan on the AC condenser. I don't think I have the real estate up front for an effective dual electric fan setup, nor do I really want the electrical draw they will take.
