Body shops are scammers. I had a guy hit my little car last Friday. Stopped at a yield with tons of cross traffic, he came up behind me and stopped. 5-6 seconds later BAAAAAM!. WTF. He floored it squealing his tires right into my car, exploded the rear bumper. He had NO drivers license or insurance. The car is 25 years old but in good shape. I spent 5 days searching the country for a bumper. Found ONE. Called a body shop and they said $2200 to sand and paint a plastic bumper. They obviously just want insurance work for $$$$$$ and do substandard work.
oh and the WACO police department is allowing my information from the accident report to be viewed by lawyers, clinics, Chiropractors, advocates etc. TONS OF CALLS since last Friday. Waco PD said they will not change their policy. They $$%$$^ suck.
