Performance Injector Install Video

Although, I am so glad I bought the truck I did and not something that was run like this truck has been.
Having watched this one, I can say that it's very well done. Some little things I noticed that some might not:
- The intercooler pipes are being removed the CORRECT way. Notice how the boots are left on the pipe, and removed at the intercooler and at the spider. This makes re-attachment more reliable and less chance of blowing an intercooler boot later.
- Check the copper washer. It's rare, but sometimes those get left in. Good attention to detail there.
- Check injector cups. Another great tip while you have it all apart.
- Very good tip on swapping glow plugs and UVC harness, and inspecting the UVC harness if not replacing (50 cent mod). Do it right the first time!
- Lubing up the o-rings prior to installing the injectors is important. Good job on putting that in the video.
- Evacuate the cylinders. Most important tip in the video.
- Hold the chip in with tape or something similar. That's always a good idea since the chip can pop out if it's not secured, and will stall the truck.
Nicely done on the tutorial. Overall I think you hit most everything you need.
One little tip I always give on reinstalling injectors: Use a straight edge or level (anything that is long enough to go over all 4 injectors) and make sure that all injectors are seated evenly. Do this before tightening the hold-down bolt. If one injector is sticking up above the others, you don't have it seated all the way.
I really enjoyed watching the video. Brought back old memories.
