Dang! That's one clear VIN. Usually they're poorly stamped, sometimes so bad they're barely readable.
This is what mine looked like.

Ya it's been very well cared for...My buddies dad had it the last 20 years and always kept it inside when not using it and washed it religiously...Probably alot better than I have been

Got my report back it was Coronado gold for exterior paint.

Interesting, none of my data shows 4 being Coronado gold.

I know it was exclusive to the Explorer, just none of my data shows it.

EDIT:
I went to PPG and checked their 1975 Ford Truck color chart and it shows Coronado Gold, color code 4.
