1965 f250 vin
Hi there I have a 1965 F250 the vin plate on the door has faded. Here is the numbers I could read

129 m F25J 281 A 24
7500 172 4000 22

592621 = 1965, assembled September 1964.
129" Wheelbase.
M = Wimbledon White.
F252 = F250 2WD, 7,500 lbs. GVWR
281: 2 = Medium Blue Crush Vinyl & Medium Blue Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.
A = Ford type 3.03 3 Speed Manual all Syncromesh Transmission.
24 = Dana 60 Rear Axle / 4.10-1 / non Limited Slip / 5,200 lb. Rear Axle Capacity.
7,500 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.
172 net HP @ 4,000 RPM
22 = Charlotte NC Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.
