What book do you guys have to look that stuff up?
just curious because I am a die hard hiboy fan and would love to find one of those if I could find out what the book is called.

The Ford parts catalog. Available on CD from hipoparts.com and I also see it on E-Bay.
1973-79 Ford 100-500 Series Truck Master Parts Catalog CD - HiPo Parts Garage

Bill has the same on microfiche. The CD is based on the early edition of the catalog and has errors and omissions, but is useable. Bill's copy is the final edition and is pretty much "the bible".

Icic thanks I will have to look into getting that... Well this is the pickup I am so curious about. And that is the emblem that is on the hood.

Ford Custom with Explorer package, but the front bumper isn't the original. With the horizontal bumper pads, it's from a 1973/77 Ranger XLT.

Chrome front bumper without horizontal pads same 1973/77 F100/350 & 1978 F100/350 before serial number AG0,001.

I stumbled across this mailer add from the 75 explorer pickups that show a Sequoia brown mettalic paint that kind of look like the color I seen behind the fuel tank....I did not see a color code for that color though.
