Hopefully I have the solution to my problem. Just got the drop brackets back from powder coat and it's set up for the truck to go in Tuesday AM for the install and alignment.
I forgot how nice of a finish powder coating is.

Those look great. Just out of curiosity.... why powder coat them?
I don't have a drop pitman. What adjustment are you talking about?
Your outer tie rod. You'll have to adjust your outer tie rod for the change in lift. With just a 2 inch spacer lift my tie rod is about as far as I would want it to be concerning the available threads. I would absolutely get a drop pitman arm if I was going higher than 2 inch. With the 2 inch lift you should be fine without one. So that's probably not the issue.
Some of the Drag Links on the 17's have a lot of Play from the factory, I had a little flutter in the steering wheel with a little pressure when off center at slow speed turns, Wheel didn't move but you could feel it, Have some one sit in the truck and steer it left to right 1/4 turn each way and watch the drag link @ pitman arm and you'll see some play in the joint. Dealer replaced under warranty Flutter was gone. I've read some complaints on here of this problem. Easy fix.

I hadn't read that. Maybe that could be the issue? Nice work. Thanks for sharing
Top of the Spindle
Tie rod end connects Bottom of spindle to the Tie rod and runs straight across to the other tie rod end and spindle, Allows for setting the Tow in.

lol... I know what the linkage is. The poster asked what adjustment I was referring to. .... and that is the outer tie rod adjustment. That is the adjustment that is most effected by the addition of a drop pitman arm.

I'm going to look at mine tomorrow...
My steering was great for a while now it's doing exactly as your describing.
Even slight floaty on the highway.
Seems though I seem to chase the wheel a little on the highway.
Used to be perfect now at 16k it feels kinda shot to heck.
I used the moog's in my shop for years and they work perfect, But I used these they were a lot easier.
These sleeves have a fixed positive camber and caster change and are designed specifically to align trucks that have been lifted or to provide more caster. Use a 23268 on the driver's side and a 23269 on the passenger's side.
