There's only a couple companies making the shim's for everyone, Dayton, TRW, Fleetline in Canada, Most companies don't have foundries/Space dedicated to cast and machine a caster shim unless thats all they do and there isn't enough call for the overhead to compete. Dayton is the leader even NAPA's are boxed Dayton's.
I used moog because it was easy 1 day amazon prime. Local NAPA only had one in stock.
I purchased these and had my alignment shop install them. I don't know if they just didn't know how to adjust them or what but they couldn't get enough caster on my driver side without the camber being out. They ended up just putting my factory bushings back in. I'm at 2.2 on the driver and 2.4 on the passenger with the factory bushings. My truck still doesn't track as straight as I'd like and I still have quite a bit of bump steer. I'm thinking about just just buying the preset +/- 2.5 caster bushings. Set it and forget it. I am just worried I will need another alignment and I've already got about $260 in alignments on my truck so far 😐

my truck is up 2.5”
i just installed the ones that Carli suspension sells for their 2.5” lifts. These are 2* shims, part number noted above.
I feel confident Carli has done their R&D and feel this is a good setting for the 2.5” lift height.
These are install and be done with them, no adjustment available with them. I don’t think you will need another alignment, the caster is the only thing changing and with those shims there is no adjustment

Thanks man. I appreciate the Info. I think I'll order some this week and see how it goes.
FYI, I just ordered these off RockAuto. It says they are a "Wholesaler Closeout" and are only $3.01 each now.

Chris,
That's an awesome deal. I bought some from O'Reilly's a while back and installed them. My truck pulled to the right after install and I didn't want to have to pay for another alignment so I took uninstalled them. I'm sure with another alignment it would've been fine. I may order some of these and try it again. I still don't like the way my truck drives with the factory bushings.

I'm not questioning your knowledge because I know you have done a lot of research and helped a lot of people on here but just out of curiosity how did you come up with these without knowing what my alignment reads? I also have a set of dual axis bushings that I bought but I could never get 2.5 degrees caster our of them. It made my steering very stiff and it actually made it stick to where I didn't have to hold the steering wheel when going around curve on the highway. As a matter of fact 1 degree was as much as I could go with them without my steering feeling to stiff.
my truck pulls to the right with the 2* shims installed. I have ordered the bushings Hackenbush has suggested. Hopefully the pull will be corrected. The should be here this am. I will install Monday and report back

Thank you. Yes please let me know. I like to know before I order any of those.
i received and installed the caster sleeves Hackenbush suggested last night. on my short drive last night, I can report my truck drives straight as an arrow now, no more right pull. Steering feels a little stiffer and there is less bump steer. I do have to straighten my steering wheel a little today, it is clocked to the right when driving straight, it must have been adjusted to compensate for the pull.

Awesome to hear. Mine should arrive tomorrow.
How hard was the install? I was debating on doing them myself versus having the alignment shop do it.
I'm now switching from the caster sleeves, which did not fix my issue, to radius arm drop brackets from Wicked Customs. So i'll be putting the factory slugs back in when i install the brackets.
